Canva SLA credit guide
What Canva's own agreement actually says about availability: no uptime percentage, no credit schedule and no claim process, so there is nothing to file for a bad month — plus where a service level for Canva would live if you have one, and the outage record Ontracko keeps regardless.
What SLA credit does Canva pay when it misses?
Canva publishes NO availability SLA at all — no uptime percentage, no credit schedule and no claim process — so there is nothing to file for a bad month, and any "Canva uptime guarantee" figure circulating elsewhere did not come from Canva's own terms. If you have a service level with Canva, it lives in your own Order Form or negotiated agreement — that document, not a public page, is where the commitment and any remedy actually are. Ontracko monitors Canva for free either way and keeps the dated outage record, which is what a renewal conversation runs on. One more thing about the deadline, because Canva not stating one is not the same as there being none: file promptly anyway. A contract can carry a limitation period nobody printed, evidence ages badly, and the status-page record a claim is built on is easiest to defend while it is fresh. If Ontracko shows a date against a Canva claim, that date is our own monitoring reminder rather than anything Canva set — we will never let it expire a claim, and you should never quote it to Canva as their window.

Credit tiers by service
No filable service credit exists for Canva (Master Services Agreement — no availability SLA published) under the standard agreement — not a tier table gap, a genuine zero. NO AVAILABILITY SLA IS PUBLISHED IN CANVA'S CURRENT AGREEMENT, AND THIS IS A DEFINITIVE FINDING RATHER THAN A FAILED SEARCH. The Canva Master Services Agreement at canva.com/policies/msa/ (Last Updated May 21, 2026) was read in full: it states no uptime figure, defines no service level, defines no downtime and establishes no service credit. The Agreement's own definition of what it comprises — this MSA, the Data Processing Addendum, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Content License Agreement, the Feature-Specific Terms, the Order Form(s) and any mutually executed amendments — names no Service Level Agreement. What Canva commits to is CONFORMITY, NOT AVAILABILITY: §1(a) provides that Canva will deliver the Service materially in accordance with the Documentation and will not materially decrease its overall functionality during the Subscription Term, and that is the whole of the performance standard. CANVA THEN EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS AVAILABILITY: §5(b), Disclaimer of Warranties, provides that the Service, the Professional Services and Output are provided "AS IS", disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, and states in terms that "CANVA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE." THERE IS NO AVAILABILITY REMEDY ANYWHERE IN THE DOCUMENT: the only two "sole and exclusive remedy" clauses are §7, scoped to third-party intellectual-property infringement, and §10(c), the re-performance warranty for Professional Services — neither is triggered by downtime. IF A CUSTOMER HOLDS AN AVAILABILITY COMMITMENT FOR CANVA, THE ONLY PLACE IT CAN LIVE IS THEIR OWN SIGNED ORDER FORM OR NEGOTIATED AGREEMENT — unpublished, and not verifiable from here. Note what the published MSA does and does not say about that document: §11(l) provides that where the Agreement and an Order Form conflict the Order Form controls, which is ordinary precedence; nothing in the MSA points a service level, an availability figure or a credit at the Order Form. Read that agreement before asserting any figure. Primary source read 2 October 2026.
Is there a Canva SLA credit to file?
No — there is nothing to file. Canva's standard agreement doesn't pay a per-incident service credit, so filing a claim would go nowhere. Ontracko still tracks Canva’s uptime record for free, which is real leverage in a renewal conversation even without a claimable credit.
Frequently asked
What is Canva's SLA uptime commitment?
Canva does not publish one. Its own agreement states no uptime percentage anywhere, so there is no commitment to quote — any figure attributed to Canva elsewhere did not come from Canva's terms. If you hold a negotiated Order Form, any availability commitment you have lives there.
Does Canva pay an SLA service credit?
No — and there is no commitment behind it either. Canva's published agreement states no uptime percentage and provides no service credit, so there is no figure to miss and nothing to file for a bad month. If you have a service level with Canva, it lives in your own Order Form or negotiated agreement — that document, not a public page, is where any commitment and any remedy would be.
