Coinbase SLA credit guide
What Coinbase's own agreement actually says about availability: no uptime percentage, no credit schedule and no claim process, so there is nothing to file for a bad month — plus where a service level for Coinbase would live if you have one, and the outage record Ontracko keeps regardless.
What SLA credit does Coinbase pay when it misses?
Coinbase publishes NO availability SLA at all — no uptime percentage, no credit schedule and no claim process — so there is nothing to file for a bad month, and any "Coinbase uptime guarantee" figure circulating elsewhere did not come from Coinbase's own terms. If you have a service level with Coinbase, it lives in your own Order Form or negotiated agreement — that document, not a public page, is where the commitment and any remedy actually are. Ontracko monitors Coinbase for free either way and keeps the dated outage record, which is what a renewal conversation runs on. One more thing about the deadline, because Coinbase not stating one is not the same as there being none: file promptly anyway. A contract can carry a limitation period nobody printed, evidence ages badly, and the status-page record a claim is built on is easiest to defend while it is fresh. If Ontracko shows a date against a Coinbase claim, that date is our own monitoring reminder rather than anything Coinbase set — we will never let it expire a claim, and you should never quote it to Coinbase as their window.

Credit tiers by service
No filable service credit exists for Coinbase (User Agreement and Developer Platform Terms — no availability SLA published) under the standard agreement — not a tier table gap, a genuine zero. COINBASE PUBLISHES NO AVAILABILITY SLA, SO THERE IS NO CONTRACTUAL UPTIME FIGURE TO HOLD IT TO AND NO SERVICE CREDIT TO FILE FOR. Read first-hand 2026-10-09: the Coinbase Individual User Agreement (https://www.coinbase.com/legal/user_agreement/united_states, "Last updated: July 22, 2026") governs the retail Website / Mobile / Advanced Trade products the catalog monitors. Its §8.2 "Limitation of Liability; No Warranty" says: "COINBASE DOES NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES THAT ACCESS TO THE COINBASE SITE, ANY PART OF THE COINBASE SERVICES, OR ANY OF THE MATERIALS CONTAINED THEREIN, WILL BE CONTINUOUS, UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, OR ERROR-FREE." and "COINBASE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY ORDER WILL BE EXECUTED, ACCEPTED, RECORDED OR REMAIN OPEN." The User Agreement contains zero occurrences of "service level", "service credit", "uptime" or any 99.x figure. The Coinbase Developer Platform Terms of Service (https://www.coinbase.com/legal/developer-platform/terms-of-service, "Last modified: June 23, 2026") say: "The CDP Tools are provided “as is” and “as available.”" — with zero "service level", "uptime" or 99.x, and its only "SLA" substring is inside "SLASHING PENALTIES" (a damages exclusion, not an SLA). The CDP pricing page (https://www.coinbase.com/developer-platform/pricing), the Prime page (https://www.coinbase.com/prime) and the Exchange page (https://www.coinbase.com/exchange) publish no SLA, service level, uptime or 99.x figure; Prime/Exchange institutional terms are each customer's own agreement — unpublished, and not verifiable from here. Three decoys, not an availability SLA: (1) the User Agreement's California disclosure points to a status page "for information regarding current and historical availability/outages of Coinbase platform products and services" — an informational pointer, with no commitment and no remedy; (2) CDP "Paymaster credits" — gas-sponsorship credits "intended to cover some initial amount of sponsorship cost" — are a usage currency, not a service credit; (3) the CDP limitation-of-liability carve-out of "DAMAGES FOR SLASHING PENALTIES" is the only "SLA" string in that document. The 99.9 stored in slaCommitment and the 30 in claimWindowDays above are Ontracko's monitoring defaults carried over so scoring still runs, NOT Coinbase terms. Is there a Coinbase SLA credit to file?
No — there is nothing to file. Coinbase's standard agreement doesn't pay a per-incident service credit, so filing a claim would go nowhere. COINBASE PUBLISHES NO AVAILABILITY SLA, SO THERE IS NO CONTRACTUAL UPTIME FIGURE TO HOLD IT TO AND NO SERVICE CREDIT TO FILE FOR. Ontracko still tracks Coinbase’s uptime record for free, which is real leverage in a renewal conversation even without a claimable credit.
Frequently asked
What is Coinbase's SLA uptime commitment?
Coinbase does not publish one. Its own agreement states no uptime percentage anywhere, so there is no commitment to quote — any figure attributed to Coinbase elsewhere did not come from Coinbase's terms. If you hold a negotiated Order Form, any availability commitment you have lives there.
Does Coinbase pay an SLA service credit?
No — and there is no commitment behind it either. Coinbase's published agreement states no uptime percentage and provides no service credit, so there is no figure to miss and nothing to file for a bad month. If you have a service level with Coinbase, it lives in your own Order Form or negotiated agreement — that document, not a public page, is where any commitment and any remedy would be.
