Doppler SLA credit guide

What Doppler's own document actually says about uptime: a 99.95% target it aims at rather than a level it commits to, what that does and does not mean when a month goes badly, and where a real availability commitment for Doppler would live.

What SLA credit does Doppler pay when it misses?

Doppler does not commit to an availability percentage, and pays no SLA service credit either. Its own document states a 99.95% uptime target — a level it says it aims at, not one it guarantees — so there is no promised figure to fall below, nothing is breached when a period falls short of it, and there is nothing to file. The figure is Doppler's own — it is transcribed from Doppler's own document and this page does not suppress it — but Doppler frames it as a level it aims at rather than one it guarantees, so there is no committed percentage to hold Doppler to. If Doppler has promised you a binding availability level, it lives in your own Order Form or negotiated agreement rather than on any public page. Where agreements in this class offer any remedy at all it is a termination or refund right after repeated consecutive misses rather than a per-incident credit, and some offer none even then, so read the exclusions below. Ontracko still monitors Doppler for free — the dated outage record is what a renewal conversation runs on — but does not draft credit claims for it, so we won't tell you otherwise. One more thing about the deadline, because Doppler not stating one is not the same as there being none: file promptly anyway. A contract can carry a limitation period nobody printed, evidence ages badly, and the status-page record a claim is built on is easiest to defend while it is fresh. If Ontracko shows a date against a Doppler claim, that date is our own monitoring reminder rather than anything Doppler set — we will never let it expire a claim, and you should never quote it to Doppler as their window.

Doppler (published SLO — a target, no service credit)99.95% target, not a commitment · nothing to file

No filable service credit exists for Doppler (published SLO — a target, no service credit) under the standard agreement — not a tier table gap, a genuine zero. NO SERVICE CREDIT EXISTS — do not tell a customer Doppler owes them money. Doppler's SLO page (https://docs.doppler.com/docs/service-sla, titled "Doppler SLO", updated 2025-06-06) reads in its entirety: "Doppler maintains a quarterly Service Level Objective (SLO) of 99.95%. Downtime related to maintenance events scheduled in advance will not be counted against this SLO. Doppler aims to minimize these maintenance events whenever possible. Maintenance events are typically limited to no more than 5 minutes of downtime per quarter." It then points to Doppler's status page (https://www.dopplerstatus.com/uptime) for historical uptime. That is an OBJECTIVE — a target, in Doppler's own word — with no credit, no claim process, no claim window, no evidence requirement and no remedy. The page says "quarterly" but does not define the quarter (calendar or fiscal, or where one starts), so no measurement period is asserted in the profile. THE SLO IS NOT INCORPORATED INTO THE TERMS: Doppler's Terms of Service (https://www.doppler.com/legal/terms, last updated February 08, 2026) contain ZERO occurrences of "service level", "service credit", "uptime", "downtime", "99." or "order form". §10 (Disclaimer of Warranties) provides the services "AS IS" and states "WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, SUPPORT OR BETA VERSIONS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE"; §11.1 waives consequential damages including interruption of business; §11.2 caps liability at the amount paid or payable in the 12 months preceding the claim. Doppler's legal menu (doppler.com/legal/*: Privacy, DPA, DPA-on-prem, Sub-processors, Cookie, Terms of Service, Referral Program, Website Terms) lists NO SLA document, and /legal/sla renders an empty legal shell. If a customer believes a remedy is owed, the only place one could live is their own negotiated agreement with Doppler — unpublished, and not verifiable from here. Is there a Doppler SLA credit to file?

No — there is nothing to file. Doppler's standard agreement doesn't pay a per-incident service credit, so filing a claim would go nowhere. NO SERVICE CREDIT EXISTS — do not tell a customer Doppler owes them money. Frequently asked

What is Doppler's SLA uptime commitment?

Doppler does not publish a commitment — it publishes a TARGET, and the difference is the whole answer. Doppler (published SLO — a target, no service credit) states a 99.95% uptime target: a level Doppler says it aims at, not one it guarantees, so nothing is contractually breached by a period that falls short of it.

Does Doppler pay an SLA service credit?

No — and there is no commitment behind it either, though for a different reason from a vendor that publishes nothing at all. Doppler's own document states a 99.95% uptime target rather than committing to a level, and its binding agreement provides no service credit, so nothing is contractually breached when a period falls short, and there is nothing to file. If Doppler has promised you a binding availability level, it lives in your own Order Form or negotiated agreement — that document, not a public page, is where it would be.
